Seurat enjoyed snacking on Parisienne Burgers while painting on the Island of La Grande Jatte. The aroma of melted gruyère and caramelized onions was especially effective in inducing the peaceful dispositions of many of his subjects.

Georges was in the habit of being  a particularly detailed conversationalist, often covering multiple topics in what seemed like five discussions at once.  One day an impatient line started to form behind him and Patricia, exercising expert crowd control procedure, said,”Georges, get to the point!”

At that moment he looked as though his head was about to explode. He grabbed his Parisienne and ran to his easel.

Thus was born pointillism !
