Today’s Launch Cancelled / Liftoff Tomorrow At Torrington Farmers’ Market 10:00 am Followed By Another At Bantam Lake 3:00 pm

The rocket will be at the Torrington Farmers’ Market tomorrow from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. There are some great farms represented and delicious food to be had. It’s a great place to get a quick bite for breakfast or spend your lunchtime. Gather your fresh ingredients for supper, grab a bag of eats from the rocket for lunch, cross the street into stunning Coe Park, spread a blanket, eat and doze off in the arms of someone you love. After your nap, stroll over to Main Street and visit Brazen Betties, Toy Jam, Remember When, In Sheep’s Clothing . . . maybe stop into the Torrington Historical Society and their Hotchkiss-Fyler House Museum. This is a perfect way in which to enjoy downtown Torrington.

After the Market we’ll be blasting off for 209 On 209 beside Bantam Lake in Morris. We’ll be there from 3:00 pm or so until early evening. We’re part of the exciting lakeside marketplace being organized there. Along with the rocket, live lobsters and clams from Tony’s Seafood of Oakville will be available.
The Market’s offerings will be expanded over the next few weeks so be sure to keep abreast of events happening here.

If you are looking to escape, relax and just melt into the Litchfield Hills, this is the place. Have one of our famous small burgers, maybe an Avery’s Birch Beer or Black Cherry Soda, seat yourself in an Adirondack chair and focus on the lake and the surrounding hills. Take the moment to enjoy this and realize how fortunate we are to live in such a beautiful place. Splurge and go for some lobsters and clams. Bring ’em home, cook them up, have some beer or wine and enjoy the rest of your evening. Don’t rush off, feel free to just hang out with the rocket . . . we’ll just keep cooking !
