This Day In Rocket History . . . Skylab launched in 1973 / Tacos, Green Chile Cheeseburgers, Black-Bottom Cupcakes . . . all are appropriate in honoring this achievement / Oddo Print Shop Until 2:00 Today

After six years in orbit, Skylab reentered Earth’s atmosphere and disintegrated in 1979, with debris striking portions of Western Australia. Wreckage landed southeast of Perth, Western Australia, and was found between Esperance and Rawlinna. The Shire of Esperance fined the United States $400 for littering. The fine was paid in April 2009.
